Personal brand
Why your image also competes
For years, the only metric that mattered in motorsport was the stopwatch. That's still the most important metric on track, but it's stopped being the only one measured off it.
Teams and sponsor brands increasingly check a driver's digital profile before signing: how many followers, what kind of content, how often, and what story it tells. Not because the sporting side matters less, but because a brand needs to know its investment will be visible.
This doesn't mean becoming a full-time content creator. It means understanding that every race produces two results: the one on the timing sheet and the one on the feed. Working on both with the same discipline is what separates a driver with a good level from a driver with a solid brand behind them.
